During October, Iain has completed the music for the new adaption of the Just So Stories, read by Lenny Henry and published by Macmillan.

Arrangement is currently underway on a series of pieces for Campbell Books entitled Bedtime Stories and Lullabies, sung by Derek Griffiths.

Just So Stories – and meditation…

During October, Iain will be composing the score to a new publication of Rudyard Kipling’s ‘Just So Stories’, published by Macmillan and narrated by Lenny Henry.

Iain has also recently composed some ‘meditation’(!) music for the comic diary of social media comedian Arron Crascall.

During August, Iain has been composing the score for the extraordinary Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend. The publisher is Orion Publishing Group/Hachette and the reader is Games of Thrones’ Gemma Whelan.

Iain has also composed the score for Eric Makes A Splash by Emily MacKenzie, published by Bloomsbury. The reader is Justin Fletcher.

Iain is currently composing music for the audio release of One Christmas Wish by Katherine Rundell, read by Jamie Parker. The publisher is Bloomsbury.

Christmas CD for Pan Macmillan and more

During June and July, vocal and instrumental sessions have been taking place for the forthcoming collection of Christmas songs and stories for Pan Macmillan. Iain was in the studio today with the wonderful Katy Ashworth who, along with Derek Griffiths, is performing the songs and narrating the stories. Mixing sessions are due to start later this week.

The audiobook of Detective Dog by Julia Donaldson, with a score by Iain, has been picked as one of the ‘Ten of the Best’ Childrens’ Audiobooks by book magazine, ‘Books for Keeps’. The publisher is Pan Macmillan.

Iain has also recently composed the score for Rockabye Pirate by Timothy Knapman with illustrations by Ada Grey. The publisher is Bloomsbury.
