Two new audiobooks from the Tilly’s Pony Tails series, written by Pippa Funnell, narrated by Clare Balding and both containing scores by Iain, have recently been released by Orion. These are Rosie, the Perfect Pony and Samson, the Stallion.

The abridged audiobook of Ian Rankin’s The Complaints, featuring incidental music by Iain, has made the shortlist as one of the ‘Best Audiobooks of the Year 2010‘.

New Score:
Iain has recently completed a suite of incidental pieces for the audiobook release of Wisher and the Runaway Piglet.

Current Project:
Arrangement work is currently continuing on an album of traditional Nursery Rhymes for Orion books.

Gordon Giltrap’s beautiful ‘Shining Morn‘ album is now available on iTunes and will be released in physical form on 17th May 2010. Iain has contributed string arrangements and keyboard/percussion performances to a number of tracks, including ‘Joy Ride‘, ‘Simply Margaret‘ and ‘Minus One‘.

Iain has recently completed scores for Dogfish by Gillian Shiells, narrated by David Tennant and also Grubtown Tales by Philip Ardagh, narrated by David Mitchell.

Scoring work is now underway for Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson and Jane Chapman, also narrated by David Tennant.

The second of the Pippa Funnell Pony Tails books, Red Admiral, narrated by Clare Balding and featuring a number of incidental pieces by Iain, is now available, published by Orion.
