During March, Iain will be composing the score for The Detective Dog written by Julia Donaldson. The narrator is Floella Benjamin and the publisher is Pan Macmillan.

Carol Ann Duffy
Iain is currently composing a collection of settings for wonderful poetry by the poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy. These are Another Night Before Christmas, Bethlehem, The Christmas Truce, Mrs Scrooge, Wenceslas, The King of Christmas, The Wren Boys and Dorothy Wordsworth. The publisher is Picador Books.
During July and August, Iain has been scoring a Danish advertisement campaign for Pocket Square Pictures for a newly-released app, Sikkert Nabolag.
Directed by Robin Holtz and edited by Freddie Smith, the campaign will be launched in Denmark in the Autumn.
New Scores in May
During May, Iain has composed the music for two forthcoming ebook releases from Bloomsbury Children’s Books.
These are Watch Out For Muddy Puddles, written by Ben Faulks (pictured), illustrated by Ben Cort and Four Silly Skeletons, written by Mark Sperring, illustrated by Sue Hendra.
The narrators for these titles are Lenny Henry (Four Silly Skeletons) and Ben Faulks (Muddy Puddles).
Bugs and Mahoosive Mammoths!
During April, Iain has been composing, arranging and performing scores for two new ebook titles to be published by Bloomsbury.
These are First Day At Bug School, written and illustrated by Sam Lloyd and The Famishing Vanishing Mahoosive Mammoth, written by Hollie Hughes and illustrated by Leigh Hodgkinson. The reader for both of these titles is Lenny Henry.
I’ll Never Let You Go and A Beginner’s Guide To Bearspotting, both recently scored by Iain, were both released last month.
